The Opportunity 

HP|konnect has a rare opportunity for a senior level UX (Product) Designer to join a well-known, successful International Brand based in their Dublin Office.

As a Senior Level UX Designer/ Product Designer, our client is looking for someone who has a strong customer / user mindset who can create top experiences for both web and native applications and who is both passionate and forward thinking, and excited by challenge.

The Company:

This company has an international presence with offices in various locations across USA, UK, and Europe - including Dublin where the current UX Designer position is available. The company has a strong collaborative culture and involves its team in every aspect of the products development procedure.


  • To work in an agile team and be very collaborative throughout all departments
  • To help design the next generation across a range of devices
  • Collaborating with both internal teams and internal stakeholders
  • Able to translate complex ideas into a more simple and effective design/ flow
  • To work on the products design, from initial concept through to development
  • Working with concept sketches, wireframes, prototypes and flows
  • To conduct customer / user research
  • To work with the research department to test and incorporate user insights
  • To create an early feedback environment and to share insights
  • Be able to validate your work  against personas + scenarios
  • Be able to present, report and make recommendations
  • Be able to carry out heuristic reviews on competitor sites
  • Produce wireframes
  • Build lo-fidelity prototypes
  • Be able to work to tight deadlines
  • To be able to oversee and mentor UX designers as and when necessary


  • 4-5 years + of solid UX Design experience
  • Be up to date with new and emerging design trends for both mobile and web
  • Have a proven understanding of end-to-end experiences
  • Proven working knowledge of information architecture, user journeys, wire-framing, specifications + guidelines
  • Extensive knowledge of user-centered design methodologies
  • Able to accept early feedback
  • Knowledgeable  about usability + accessibility, with the ability for translation of this into your work
  • Strong understanding of touch devices along with indications involved with both web and native apps
  • The ability to plan and priorities your own work
  • Great communication skills - both verbal and written
  • A very forward thinking attitude who will add value to the team
